Workshop on imaging of Spine and SIJs Spondyloarthropaties

Typical findings of axial SpA and rheumatic diseases in different imaging modalities will be addressed using interactive cases-discussion. You will use the workstations from Canon (with the software: CANON Vitrea), and we provide you with the cases to have a look at each case before we solve it together. The adequate SIJ and spine protocols for each case as well as the role of advanced MR imaging will be discussed. With a mixture of clear-cut and more challenging cases, the main differential diagnoses will also be reviewed.

As a bonus, the typical findings of juvenile-SpA at imaging, including similarities and differences with adults will be discussed using case studies. Characteristics of age-related features at imaging, which may affect the assessment of pediatric patients, will be examined.
